Info

You will receive a warm welcome at the Cochin Airport or Railway Station. From there, we will head to your resort in Cochin. After you check in and freshen up, we will take you to see around the prominent tourist spots in the city and towns nearby. After a good night rest in your resort at Cochin, you can get ready the next morning for a long drive to Munnar.

En route the long drive to Munnar, you will be able to catch some spectacular views. You will spend the next two nights in a beautiful farm stay in Munnar. During the day, we will explore the hill station by visiting some of its most important tourist attractions and you can take part in some relaxing activities too.

On the fourth day, we will head to the pleasant town of Thekkady where we will take you to a popular boat ride in the Periyar Lake, an elephant ride and some other sightseeing spots. For the night, your stay is arranged in a deluxe room that belongs to a lush green resort.

On the fifth day, we will head to the scenic town of Alleppey where you will experience a pleasant stay at a backwater resort. During the day, you will enjoy a 4-hour houseboat cruise.

The next morning, after checking out of the resort, we will head back to Cochin. There we could take you to visit some more sightseeing spots or you could do some shopping. After you shop until satisfied, we will drop you at the airport or railway station.

Note: During the monsoon, it is recommended that travelers avoid beaches. Since the current is too strong, swimming is prohibited at the beach. And sometimes, just visiting the beach is too dangerous. So many beaches are closed. You must also avoid activities like bird watching, photography walks and cycling tours during the monsoon.

What to wear during the monsoon

It is better to wear light clothes because even if they get wet, you can dry them easily. Avoid jeans and thick shirts or T-shirts. Also avoid expensive footwear as the rains can spoil them. Instead, use plastic or rubber footwear. Carry rain coats or umbrellas wherever you go.

Editor's Review

The tour plan is designed to help you experience the best of God's own country at a leisurely pace. The farm stay that becomes your home for two days blooms with serene beauty. It manifests a whole new lifestyle which you'll start liking the moment you check in. The lush green resort at Thekkady and the Indo-European styled luxury hotel at Cochin offer you more than you can ever ask for. You will experience serenity in its fullest sense during your stay at the backwater resort in Alleppey.

During this memorable trip, you will visit the evergreen hill station of Munnar and be delighted by the sights of sprawling tea plantations. The chirping of exotic birds in the wild yet pleasant environment of Thekkady connects you to the natural world in a very special way. But it is during the cruise through the scenic backwaters in the elegant houseboat that you realize how you've truly experienced Kerala. The adventurous boat rides, spellbinding viewpoints and historic sightseeing locations will ensure that you will remember this holiday for a long time.
