Chateau Woods is located in a place with marvellous scenic beauty because of the plantations, waterfalls, hills and forests. The rooms are very well-designed and offer excellent views. The food is quite good but do not expect many options. Although the staff is flexible offering some good activities, you cannot expect quick services. Since it is an isolated resort, the area around is very calm.

The sprawling tea and coffee plantations take up an area of 7 acres and they are surrounded by undulating hills. Chateau Woods displays contemporary character because of its modern architectural design, advanced aesthetics and finely coloured furnishings.
The main building of the resort has suites on the first floor and luxury rooms on the second. The large French windows of the rooms offer stunning views of the delightful plantations and hills. There are well-designed cliff cottages independent of the main building and they are hemmed by the forests. The dining hall, which can accommodate 20 guests at once, overlooks the flower lined green patch in front of the property and the tea gardens beyond. The menu mainly focuses on the Kerala cuisine. North Indian, Chinese and Continental delicacies are also served.
This is the most luxurious room in the resort. It offers an amazing view of the tea plantations. The suite has two rooms, a large private terrace and a Jacuzzi. It features classic interiors, wooden closets and en-suite bath with rain shower. The Presidential Suite is ideal for families. It is located on the first floor.
Junior Suites are on the first floor. The two suites have a connecting door. They have private sit-outs that provide a spectacular view of the tea plantations. The rooms have large French windows and an en-suite bathroom with toiletries and soft towels.
There are two luxury rooms on the second floor. They offer splendid views of the blue mountains and the plantations. They have spacious ensuite bathrooms with rain shower. Extra bed is provided on request.
The cliff cottages are independent of the main building located behind it. They can be reached by a short walk through the tea plantations.The cottages stand on iron stilts and have a small gate for the safety of the kids. They have a small sit-out and offer great views of the Soochipara stream.
