The Estate Residency in Munnar is located amidst a vast area of cardamom plantation which is about 75 acres in size. The homestay is hosted by Mr. Firosh Philip, his wife Sheeba and their two children. It has individual guest rooms with large windows that provide a panoramic view of the tea gardens and plantations. Two beautiful tree houses are also located in the property. Guests can enjoy a tranquil atmosphere at the homestay since it is far away from the main town area.

The Estate Residency is a good homestay ideal for budget travellers. It has nice green surroundings to walk around. The rooms provide a nice view from the large windows. But they are quite small and somewhat basic. There no good restaurants nearby but you can expect delicious homely food at the homestay itself. Since it is far away from the Muunar town, the place is peaceful and has no much crowd or pollution.
Located about 7 km away from the Munnar Town just beside the NH-49, the Estate Residency is an ideal budget homestay having a serene atmosphere in a natural setting. All around the homestay are cardamom plantations along with vanilla, cocoa, coffee and pepper cultivation. The mountain-side homestay, built with Victorian architecture, is situated on a slightly elevated terrain and thus it overlooks the lush green tea gardens, the Sahyadri Mountain ranges and even a lake and a dam that are a little far away.
The homestay is hosted by Mr. Philip and his family. His wife loves gardening and cooking and they will be happy to share with their guests interesting details of cardamom and other crop cultivation. The homestay features three well-furnished individual deluxe rooms. They have large windows overlooking the verdant hills around. Apart from this, there are two tree houses also. Guests can enjoy a walk through the woods or they could sip their coffee while enjoying the panoramic view from the terrace.
There are three individual guest rooms on the first floor of the bungalow. They are well-furnished and have the standard amenities including 24 hours hot water, satellite TV, direct dial telephones, internet and balcony. They have large windows that provide a great view, especially in the morning.
There are two tree houses in Estate Residency. They have slightly smaller space, ideal for two persons. They are equipped with good facilities and provide a nice view of the tea estate.
