Jungle Retreat in Wayanad has a wonderful environment close to the jungle. The views are simply fantastic. You will see many creatures throughout your stay. But you cannot expect the rooms to have any kind of modern look with luxury facilities. They are very basic but quite clean. There are many activities like safaris, treks and campfires that you can participate in but they all cost you extra.

Surrounded by a wild and beautiful jungle on all sides, the Jungle Retreat in Wayanad is a 10-acre property featuring quaint cottages. Guests at the retreat can expect to see several delightful birds and wild creatures like gaurs, deer and elephants and also hear the roars of tigers and leopards. The retreat is in the middle of three famous reserves namely-Tholpetty wildlife sanctuary, Nagarahole National Park and Brahmagiri mountain ranges.

The retreat aims to provide its guests a safe and comfortable accommodation in a jungle atmosphere so that they can feel like they're camping but with complete security. There are just a few rooms in the property, all of which offer complete privacy and complement the wild environment of the place. Although well-appointed, the rooms do not provide luxury facilities like ACs or TVs. They are basic and clean rooms. Jungle Retreat is more about outdoors than indoors.

• Safaris arranged through the Nagarahole National Park and the Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary are quite famous.
• Brahmagiri Peak trek and Pakshipathalam trek are popular trekking paths.
• Thirunelli Temple, Edakkal Cave, Kuruva Island and Pookott Lake are must-visit tourist attractions nearby.
• If you have a driver along, he can stay at the Thirunelli Temple Lodge just 5 minutes away. There are no quarters in the retreat for drivers and it is unsafe for them to stay in the parking space.

The villa is ideal for families. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two balconies. It is at an elevated location close to the jungle.
