Olavipe Homestay is a pleasant heritage property located in a lush green environment, far away from any hustle or bustle. The property has a working farm, beautiful gardens and majestic trees where many delightful birds come and rest. The main building has four bright and airy rooms with wide verandas. There are two other rooms in the smaller building. They have private garden spaces. All the rooms feature modern bathrooms. 

Food from the traditional Kerala cuisine is served to the guests at the dining area in the home stay. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided. The ingredients used to prepare meals are brought from the organic farm. The farm grows coconut, pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon, areca nut, flowers, vegetables and fruits. It also houses cows, goats, fish and prawns. There are scenic villages around the home stay that offer opportunities for pleasant nature walks and bird watching. Fishing and canoeing is possible in the backwater stretch nearby.

Special Notes

• Breakfast is ready by 8:30 AM, lunch by 01:30 PM and dinner by 08:00 PM. The serving time can be delayed to a time convenient for you.
• Kitchen is open by 06:30 AM. You can get tea and coffee from that time.
• Do not walk over dry leaf heaps and overgrown areas - snakes have occasionally been spotted here.
• Avoid walking outside in the night. Carry a flashlight with you in case you want to go out at night.
• Wear covered shoes while walking in the farm.
• You can watch coconut harvesting which takes places once in 45 days.
• The home stay has a well-stocked library.

Standard Room

The rooms in the home stay are equipped with standard comforts. They open to wide veranadas that offer pleasant views. Some rooms offer twin beds while others feature one double bed. One of the rooms even has an outdoor bath tub. The design and structure of each room is unqiue unto itself.
