Sherlock is a Sherlock Holmes-themed hotel located in the outskirts of Ooty in Tamil Nadu. It is a Victorian-Era Mansion, built in the late 1800's. The original style and design of the mansion have not been tampered. The Government Botanical Garden is in close proximity to the mansion.

The hotel mansion does complete justice to its name. The mansion has a special and unique atmosphere. The rooms in the mansion are luxurious having good views. Since the place is quite cold, hot water is a must. But you might have some issues with that.
Sherlock Mansion was a privately-owned summer mansion during the 19th century, which had later been converted into a hotel with nine spacious luxury rooms. The architectural design of the mansion reminds guests of the Victorian-Era in the late 1800's. The elevated mansion and the retro-style brick chimneys in the rooms provide a glimpse of 19th century London. The ambience of the entire place is Holmesian with all the rooms named after a Sherlock adventure.
The mansion has a spacious lounge area, a reading room & an activity space along with nine luxurious rooms, each of which has a fireplace. The furniture that embellished the rooms in the mansion years ago is still intact. In the mansion are two dining rooms, one of which has a sun-roof to create a warmer ambience. The multi-cuisine restaurant serves food made with special herbs and spices. Guests can enjoy a refreshing cup of tea in the beautiful lawn or the sun room. The atmosphere of the entire mansion is quite mysterious, but that is exactly what you would expect from a Sherlock-themed hotel.
There are nine luxury rooms in the Sherlock Mansion. Each of these is named after a Holmesian adventure. The furniture in the rooms are the exact same ones that decorated the room a century ago. All the nine rooms have a fireplace. The rooms are suitable for two persons.
