We tried really hard to find some bad things about this place but there were none. This place is divine, a huge paradise-like property where you get a beautiful view of the lake everywhere you look. The traditional house has all the modern luxuries with just two bedrooms in it. The garden, the pool and the trees of the property are amazing. You will love the food which is served here and you can eat it wherever you want. Once you step in, you never want to step out.
Vismaya is the most beautiful hideaway found in the lake peninsula in the village of Kumarakom. The 400 year old house underwent major renovation to make it look like a luxury house and yet it retains the antique charm. The major thing that changed was that large windows were fit to the house so it can look much brighter. Guests at the house can enjoy the best quality of hospitality, a memorable stay and Kerala style cuisine with European flavours.
The distinctive heritage house has a nice veranda from where guests can admire the view of the sunrise. The property has a vantage point near the lake offering a perfect view of the sunset and a view of the fishermen passing by. Although the house is far away from the bustling city, it has free Wi-Fi internet access. The contemporary house has ample space, a private granite swimming pool, a large garden and many luxuries that allow the guests to unwind and de-stress completely.
