Greenix Village is a conveniently located cultural centre that showcases a variety of Kerala's authentic dances and art forms. Apart from the performances, there are quite a few interesting activities that can be enjoyed at Greenix Village like the museum and art gallery tour. You will really love the cute little souvenirs you can buy at the curio shops.

  • Make-up demos can get a little boring.

Greenix Village, located in the heritage town of Fort Cochin, is a beautiful 28000 sq ft cultural centre that proudly showcases a variety of facets of Kerala's delightful culture and colourful history. The cultural centre has two huge theatres that display a number of Kerala dance performances like Kathakali, Mohiniattam and Koodiyattam. Greenix Village also has a Kalaripayattu training centre, a cultural museum and art gallery, a restaurant, a spice Shop, a souvenir Shop, an ayurvedic spa, a dental spa and a yoga centre.

One dance theatre that can seat 150 people shows Kathakali make-up (5:00 PM - 6:00 PM) and Kerala Kaleidoscope performance (6:00 PM - 7:30 PM). The other dance theatre that can seat 50 people shows Kathakali make up (5:00 PM - 6-00 PM) and Kathakali performance (6:00 PM - 7:00 PM). Both dance theatres are air-conditioned. Special dance performances for groups interested in watching a particular dance form are organised at the mini- theatre.

The cultural museum has well-sculpted models of Kerala dancers with items of make-up. It also showcases old artefacts and articles of daily use that are used in the villages of Kerala. At the centre of a museum, you will find a long traditional boat that is used in boat races. The museum is open for tour from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The art gallery has a small food joint that serves delicacies from Kerala and Continental cuisine. The curio shop sells miniaturized versions of Chinese fishing nets, sandalwood figurines of Elephants dressed in colourful headgear, jewel boxes and many more amazing souvenirs.

The Kalariyapattu Training centre is a 2500 sq ft area that showcases Kalaripayattu training (8:00 AM - 9:00 AM) and Kalaripayattu performance (4:00 PM - 5:00 PM). The book shop has a huge collection of books and CDs on Kerala's culture and history.
