Bangalore, now known as Bengaluru, is the capital city of Karnataka. It is one of the most prominent cities of India. Flower shows are held in Lal Bagh on Independence Day and Republic Day. The city has many premium pubs and also hosts many International Rock Concerts. Although it is not a major tourist site, there are a few things to see in the city like Bangalore Palace, Tipu Sultan's Palace and Vikasa Soudha.

By Air
Bangalore has an airport of its own called Kempegowda International Airport, 40 kilometres from the main city area. The airport is connected to major cities in India and abroad. You can take a BMTC bus from the airport which is quite economic. You can also hire a taxi or book a cab to reach your hotel.
By Train
Bangalore has two major railway stations, Bangalore City and Yeshwantpur Junction. Bangalore City station is at the heart of the city. Bangalore East and Bangalore Cantonment are smaller stations. The station is well-connected to all the major cities in India. You can take an auto or hire a taxi to reach your hotel.
By Road
Luxury buses are also readily available to Bangalore from many cities across the country. Kempegowda bus station is the major bus station in Bangalore. All buses arriving from other towns have their major stop here.
Masala Dosa(pancake) with red chutney and stuffed potatoes and 'Benne Masalae' – a thick rice pancake is famous in the local cuisine. Bisibili Bath is also a popular local rice dish.
