The Marari Beach enjoys a serene environment because of its isolated location. A long walk on the golden sand beach with coconut palms on the shore is a refreshing experience. It can get very humid during the summer. The scenic village near the beach offers wonderful opportunities for pleasant village walks. The beach is just not about serenity. It also offers exciting activities for the adventurous souls.

Located about 11 km away from the scenic town of Alleppey, the Marari Beach is a serene getaway destination for a holiday with family and friends. The coconut palms, golden sands and colourful country boats anchored on the shore in Marari add a unique charm to the beach and perfectly complement the picturesque view of the ocean. The pleasant and cheerful fishing village of Mararikulam is located right next to the beach. It offers excellent opportunities for village walks.

By Air

By Train

The nearest railway stations to Marari are at Alleppey (16 km), Kottayam (42 km) and Ernakulam (55 km). From the station, you can take a taxi, a bus or an auto. 

By Road

To reach the Marari beach, you need to take the NH 47. At the Kalavur Junction, which is 13 km north of Alleppey, take a left, follow the road for about 3 km and you will reach the Beach Road junction. You can easily get buses or taxis from Cochin or Alleppey.
