Even the capital city of Kerala has plenty of tourist attractions. The long shoreline of Thiruvananthapuram offers a wide range of attractions and activities that are related both to nature and culture. The city is not a typical metropolitan city, and hence you get accommodation facilities at a cheaper rate.

  • Some places may have a lot of crowd and traffic.

With a population of more than 3 million, Thiruvananthapuram is one of the most significant cities in South India. The name 'Thiruvanthapuram' literally means 'City of Lord Anantha' in the local language. The city has been built on seven low hills around the Padmanabha Swamy Temple. Apart from this one, the city is home to many other temples. Thiruvananthapuram is considered as an alluring picnic spot because of the afforested uplands of the Western Ghats.
