Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary & National Park is a well known park near Valparai which has a place called Grass Hills, a spectacular site having mountain slopes covered with lush green grass. Since Valparai is one of the wettest places in India, the waterfalls like Monkey falls and Chinnakallar falls located in the region are wonderful to look at.
