Sinna Dorai's Bungalow is situated in the Anamalai Hills, belonging to the Western Ghats in Tamil Nadu. Built in the 1940's, the bungalow in Valparai is located amidst delightful tea plantations overlooking the Roti Kadai Valley. The area surrounding the bungalows is home to an abundance of wildlife including panthers, bison and malabar squirrels. In the estate, guests not only get to watch how tea is manufactured but also pick some leaves and make tea themselves.
Valparai has an unencumbered history which is quite evident in its tourist spots like Balaji temple, Sholayar dam and Chinna Kallar. Guests can easily visit these spots during their stay in the bungalow. A picnic trail is pre-arranged for guests at the bungalow and as soon as it ends, a beautifully laid out afternoon tea awaits them. The property also has a charming restaurant and an invigorating conference facility.
