The best part about your stay at Thalathoor Heritage will be the delicious food you get here. The host is a wonderful person gifted with great cooking skills. The place has greenery along with a calm and undisturbed atmosphere. The rooms are pretty good but the tariff is slightly more than the usual. The rare power-cuts may cause a little trouble.

Set in a tropical environment amidst a dense areca nut plantation close to the Chandragiri River, the traditional home was constructed using the age old vedic architectural methods. The entire property and the area around it have an impressive old world charm. The property has a traditional pool with a turtle and a variety of fish.
The highlight of the homestay is the annual theyyam performances that happen over here. Thalathoor Heritage has an organic garden, a yoga hut overlooking the pool and a library featuring superman comics from the 80's. The homestay has two comfortable air-conditioned rooms featuring antique interiors, rich fabrics and an elegant ambience. Guests get to taste the authentic flavours of the northern Malabar cuisine in the homely food prepared from the age old recipes of Mrs. Shyamala Nair.
The Royal Thamburan is the best room in the bungalow. It has windows on 3 sides and they offer a nice view. The main highlight of the room is the antique swing bed. The room also has a reading lamp, wardrobe, writing desk and an attached bathroom.
The Classic Thamburati is a standard air-conditioned room. It overlooks the 120-year old granary and is located above the farm. The room has a wardrobe, wrinting desk and an attached bathroom.
