Editor's Review

The Eravikulam National Park is known for its unique and beautiful ecosystem. The views throughout your visit will be breathtaking. The main problem is that the park gets too hot during the afternoons and sometimes you wouldn't get to see a lot of animals.

We kindly request our guests to respect the pristine environment. Please do not litter or feed the animals. In order for you to enjoy a safe trip, please stay a little away from the animals and do not cause them any indirect harm.

PROS

  • Fresh air with awesome scenery.
  • Stunning views of the mountains, valleys and tea plantations in the back-drop.
  • Lots of opportunities to take pictures.
  • The bus ride to the park is a nice experience providing scenic views.

CONS

  • Long queues for buying the ticket and boarding the bus.
  • At times, there might be no sighting of animals.
  • The bus rides can be scary to some as the roads are hugging the cliff and they have only a few inches for the incoming traffic to pass.
  • The place gets too hot during the afternoons.
