The Photo Point of Munnar is named appropriately. The location is simply picture-perfect. The best part is that you can get yourself clicked dressed as a tea picker. Although the road to this place is rugged, you can visit can this place for its magnificent beauty.

Photo Point is a popular destination situated at about 3 kms away from the town of Munnar on the way to Mattupetty. Munnar is a favoured hill station in Kerala state famous for its tea gardens and the natural beauty. Photo point is an ideal spot for amateur as well as professional photographers. It is also a scenic place to visit for both leisure travellers and nature lovers.

The place surrounded with woods, small rivulets and undulating hills make it a picture perfect spot for the tourists. Tea, coffee, spices, cloves, cardamom, pepper and homemade chocolates are a few things you can buy from the nearby places. While making a trip to Munnar, soak yourself in this placid nature.

Surrounded by tea gardens, the areas around the town of Munnar are rich with natural beauty. All tourist points are located in one direction with the last point being 25 kms from the town centre. It takes around 4 hours to visit all these places and return to the town.
