The bungalow is an ideal homestay offering two well-furnished rooms providing guests with some of the modern amenities. The Homestay has been recognized by the Department of Tourism in Kerala. It is one of the few homestays that have been classified as "Diamond House". This is the highest rating in the classification system.

The bungalow offers two tastefully designed rooms as accommodation for the guests. The rooms are air-conditioned and built in Art-Deco style. The bungalow is mostly suited for middle-aged guests or people who want to learn South Indian Cooking. The homestay is managed by the warm and welcoming Pottamkulam family.

At the bungalow, all meals for the day are provided. The menu can be fixed by the guests depending on their likes and dislikes. Guests can decide the amount of spices they would require in their food. The menu mostly contains North Indian and authentic Kerala delicacies. Home-grown organic fruits, vegetables and spices are used in preparing the dishes for the guests. A doctor, barber and masseur can be arranged on request. Along with the picturesque locations, guests who stay at the bungalow will experience a lifestyle that the British planters enjoyed.
