Shooting Point in Ooty has been a shooting location for many bollywood flicks. So you can imagine how beautiful the landscape must be. It’s a great spot for picnics or a pleasant walk. A soft trek to the top can give some spectacular views. The horse riding experience is also quite thrilling.

Since it is 7 km (9 miles) away from the town of Ooty, the Shooting Point is also called as 9th mile. The beautiful landscape and the view of the valleys make this spot one of the most visited attractions in Ooty. Travelers can take a 500-metre trek to reach an exquisite viewpoint. From there, you can get a panoramic view of the Nilgiri Hills and a few lakes as well.
