The beach in Alleppey is not the city's highlight. It is not very clean. But the views of the surroundings are really nice. Since the beach provides many interesting activities, you could definitely try to visit the beach in case you happen to go to Alleppey.

Alleppey is famous for its boat races, backwater holidays, beaches, marine products and coir industries. The Alappuzha beach is a popular tourist attraction in the city. Near the beach is a popular park called Vijaya Beach Park. The park provides bicycle and boating facilities. It also has a children’s park with toy trains. Also, there is an old lighthouse nearby overlooking the beach. It is a wonderful spot to get a panoramic view of the superb surrounding nearby.

Alleppey beach consists of a long stretch of shores densely populated with swaying palm groves. Alappuzha Beach offers its tourists various opportunities to indulge in water sport activities including swimming, beach volleyball, surfing and parasailing. Boat races which happen during the months of August and September are also a major attraction of this place. The best time to visit the Alappuzha Beach is between the months of August and March.
