Our driver will pick you up from the airport or railway station in Cochin. You can check in to the Dewalokam Farm Stay and get ready for some sightseeing in and around the city.

With a history that goes back five centuries, the Chinese Fishing Nets are a photographer's delight. Although they look simple, the majestic ocean in the background and the sunset make this site one of the best attractions in Fort Cochin.

After properly covering the tourist attractions in and around Cochin, we will drop you at the farm stay where you can rest for the night. 

On Day 2, you can explore the farm stay and relax in the evening. Along with scenic beauty, the farm stay has a long list of activities on offer. Some of them are:

After your breakfast at Dewalokam Farm Stay, we will head to Valparai through the Sholayar Forest. En route, we will visit many significant tourist attractions. Our first stop will be the magnificent Athirapally Waterfalls. Popularly called as 'The Niagara of Kerala', these waterfalls offer a mind blowing experience by showcasing the blend of majesty and beauty that exists in nature.

After being mesmerized by the splendour of the waterfalls, we will drive through the Sholayar Forest and visit the imposing Sholayar Dam. The dam creates pleasant scenery since it is located amidst verdant surroundings and water bodies. But when there is enough water to open the gates of the dam, the view becomes extra-ordinary.

We will visit Malakkapara, a small unexplored hill station and then reach Valparai in the evening. At Valparai, you will spend the next two nights at a charming bungalow in a large green estate. It is one of the best accommodations in Valparai. 

On this day, you will explore the town of Valparai in a leisurely way. You will be taken around the famous tea factories of the town where you will get an opportunity to see the interesting process of the manufacture of tea. Local trekking through the tea estates and forests can also be arranged at extra cost.

After your breakfast at Briar Tea Bungalows, we will head to Munnar through a road that will offer you many picturesque sights. On our way, we will visit the mostly untouched tourist destination of Marayoor. The unique place claims to be part of the Stone Age civilization. The sandalwood forests, rocky hills, dolmens, caves, brooks and rivers will add to your experience.

Your stay for the next two nights is arranged in the Talayar Valley Bungalow. The lush green landscape and the majestic mountain ranges around the bungalow add to the charm of the property. The unique interiors and elegant design of the spacious suites promise a royal stay.

After your breakfast at the bungalow, you can get ready to experience the beautiful hill station of Munnar in its fullest sense. We will be covering prominent tourist attractions of the town and you can expect to enjoy some relaxing activities too.

Kashmiri Shikkara boats, pedal boats and row boats are available on rent at the lake. It is the boat rides that make the visit truly worthwhile.

Next, we visit a unique place where your voice is what will rule the picturesque environment.

The 30-minute adventure on the back of an elephant will bring out the child in you.

After a long and satisfying day, we will drop you back at the bungalow. 

Have your breakfast at the bungalow and get ready for a three-and-a-half-hour drive to the pleasant town of Thekkady. At Thekkady, we will take you to the Periyar Lake for boating and visit some other attractions depending on the time at hand.

For the night, your stay is arranged at Amaana Plantation Resort. The resort features a scenic landscape with dignified villas offering pleasant views of the surrounding natural environment.

Have your breakfast at the resort and get ready for a long drive to the Vembanad Lake. We should reach Vembanad at around 12:00 PM.

At Vembanad, a beautiful houseboat awaits to welcome you. You will check-in at about noon and we only hope you have a memorable experience ahead. A houseboat cruise is the only right way to experience the serene backwaters of Kerala in its true essence. Since the boat cruises at a gentle pace, you will have plenty of time to relax and feast your eyes on the quaint village scenes across the lake. Some of the pleasant scenes include tropical coconut palms, paddy fields, traditional huts and cottages, beautiful canoes and villagers going about doing their daily chores. To add to your experience, you will also have an opportunity to try your hand at fishing during the evening. We are sure you will remember this journey for the rest of your life. 

Your houseboat will have an air-conditioned room with an en-suite bathroom. The air-conditioner is kept on only from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM. But at an additional cost, you can have the AC on for the whole time. The houseboat staff consists of two heedful men who are always at your service.

All your meals will be taken care of by a special chef at the houseboat. You can always feel free to tell him your preferences. Tea, snacks and a welcome drink are also served to you during your cruise.

You will check out of the houseboat after your breakfast. Then we will head back to Cochin. At Cochin, we will take you for some sightseeing or you could do some shopping if you want to. After moving around the city a bit, we will drop you at the airport or railway station at a time convenient for you.
